Gumusservi is Turkish for moonlight shining on the water. Gumusservi has no translation in the English language but that’s perfectly fine since in Turkish it reads like pure poetry. To wake in the night and see a silvery trail of gumusservi shining upon the water is like seeing magic. To have a word, and such a beautiful word (gumusservi is pronounced goo-moo-SAIR-vee) at that, to describe this natural occurrence is magnificent.
Nature’s dreamscape / a shimmering mirage / a road that begs to be wandered / gumusservi‘s shining wand / The water weaves and bobs / the lustrous reflection ripples too / as the gumusservi beckons / won’t you follow through? ~ Ella
Gumusservi is a word that lends its self to poetry, much like the moon and stars!
Namaste ~ Ella
