This incredibly insightful and wise quote rings so true. Nobody needs to wait a single moment to begin to change themselves, their world and the world around them. Once you decide then you start. There is no magical time to begin, no having to wait for tomorrow, or next week, or the start of a new year. No, you get to start the very moment you want.
It can start as simply as choosing to focus on the positive, or deciding to not engage in negative, low vibes ways. You could pause to pick up a piece of trash, smile at a neighbor or stranger, maybe even stop and give yourself a smile in a window’s reflection. You get to change the world for the better with each moment you are alive.
How amazing is that?! You get to make the world a better place. You get to make your life an enjoyable one. You get to add positivity and kindness and joy to the lives of all you encounter. That’s the power you have.
Sure, some may argue that it’s hardly anything and not really making an sort of real difference, but I bet if someone (maybe you) were to smile at them and even offer them a compliment, they would feel a difference.
It’s always, always the little things, the everyday interactions and actions that end up creating a strong and lasting change. And even if it seems like it’s not causing change in the world at large, it is making a difference in the world around you and in you.
And that, my friend, is worth everything!
