Roseate is a word much needed right now since it means dwelling on hopeful aspects, and being bright and optimistic. To roseately view the world is not a bad thing, and by doing so doesn’t mean ignoring the unfavorable or the ugly. To be roseate in one’s views, I think you are choosing to focus on solutions to the heavy issues that are being thrust into the public eye. To choose change, positive empowering change that will help those who need it. To be roseate, you choose to listen and to respond with life and hope affirming actions.
A roseate view doesn’t mean you ignore the ugly, the bad, or the uncomfortable. It means you acknowledge the problems, you listen, and you help to create hope and change as you cultivate understanding.
My views in this world are decidedly roseate and I fully intend to provide solidarity and change in any way I am able to.
