Sirenize means bewitching or alluring, especially by song. Sirenize is derived from the word siren (Greek temptress) and the verb-forming suffix -ize (to render, make).
Sirenize is quite a unique word that means using the enticements of a siren. When one sirenizes, they fascinate, captivate, and charm, usually to devastating or destructive results. Sirens, after all, are rather dangerous Greek creatures that lure sailors to their untimely deaths.
They sirenize their song/ a dangerous melody/ one that pulls the soul/ yet leaves it dangling./You seek the source in madness/You yearn and burn and scream/ Yet unfulfilled it leaves you/ Forever questing in fevered dream./ Should you attain the origin of this euphony/ You will find destruction to your destiny./ They sirenize their song/ that dangerous melody/ one thats meant to haunt you/ bringing carnage to all things… ~ Ella Patrice
