To gambol about is to frolic and cavort in a playful, totally in the moment sort of way. Gambol is a word much like balter – it’s all about uninhibited, light-hearted movement, and don’t we all need a lot more of that in our everyday lives! Children and animals tend to gambol by nature by simply following their heart’s and bodies as they move about thoroughly enjoying themselves. They are not self-conscious as they gambol about, filling the air with their laughter and thrill-filled shouts.
Wild and crazy gamboling!
Okay, so this sort of gamboling is more my style (creepy humpty-dumpty not a necessity)!
I think we should all take note and perhaps add some gamboling time to our lives. I know I certainly shall be!
