What an absolutely divine quote! When I came across these gorgeous words my soul caught fire with a deeply inspired, long-held knowledge.
I am art.
You are art.
Our very beings exist as divine expression and as such we are a heady mix of bewilderment, clarity, allurement, ineptitude, feeling, awareness, ignorance, ugliness, etc…
There is no accurate definition, no true limit to the multitudes, the faucets, we are able to create and express of ourselves or see and read into others. We are each of us constantly changing, shifting, expanding and constricting according to our moods, our surrounding, our influences, our consumption.
All of it weaves, disconnects, and intertwines in a variety of unique patterns that add up to the ultimate masterpiece – Our very being.
We are stunningly exquisite hot messes that fit no boxes, molds, or previous models. We are each delightfully and delicately individual and though we might find others who are similar or like-minded, they are not, nor can they ever be, the same.
I know that I am art. I am a fucking euphorically exhilarating jumble of chaos ~ my own dear companion or worst enemy, depending on my head and heart space, but it’s all of my own design and choosing. So long as I remain in-charge of my person, my heart, my mind, my soul no one else gets a say or a piece of me without my express permission.
The very same goes for You as well. You are your own stunning word of art – no matter the harmony or mayhem that makes you who and what you are.
