Monday Mantra 137 – I am not afraid of storms for I am learning how to sail my ship.

I am not afraid of storms for I am learning how to sail my ship. Louisa May Alcott quote Monday Mantra 137 via LaWhimsyI am not afraid of storms for I am learning how to sail my ship. “~ Louisa May Alcott

Stormy weather may be rough and unpredictable but I no longer fear as I once did, for as the lovely quote goes, I am learning how to sail my ship. I am learning how to keep my course steady even as the goes gets difficult. I am learning how to keep my soul intact, open, soft, and generous, even as the outside world tries to tear me down, ridicules my gentle nature, and mocks my choice of optimism instead of pessimism. I am learning how to steer by listening to my own inner guide, using my instincts as my North Star. I am learning that even in the darkest of times, the dimmest of places, my light can still shine and I can still be wholly and completely ME. It’s not easy, I will always bear scars, however it is so, so worth it. I’m learning how to sail my ship and so long as I remain open to the wisdom that the Earth, that Life, holds, the storms are no longer something to fear. I’m learning and I know you are too.
