Diaphanous is one of those utterly delicious descriptive words that I adore sprinkling about my conversations. The word alone sounds every bit as divine as it’s meaning, I mean by just saying diaphanous denotes a sense of delicate elegance. The air on an early, clear Spring day has a sort of diaphanous quality to it since the weather can be so changeable, yet delicate and fine in it’s still moments.
Diaphanous is a true quaintrelle kind of word and it’s one well worth cultivating in everyday life. What do you think?
