There seems to be an extra golden lining to the Autumn…
“In October any wonderful unexpected thing might be possible.”
The Autumn season makes me absolutely giddy and October, landing rich and full in the middle of the season, doubles the joy. There is so much to see and delight in and endless golden days filled with both warm and chill air that seems to awaken the senses and soul.
Of course there are still bumps and rough spots and things to deal with. I mean, Mercury Retrograde dealt me one last hurdle when my computer completely crashed unexpectedly this weekend and wiped everything off of it. We are talking started from square one here people.
I’m just so glad I backed up my computer right before the Retrograde began, so I really only lost the past 3 weeks of files, designs, and projects. However, it was all of my Drawlloween designs and blog bits that I’m aching about. I should’ve been more up on backing those up, but painful lesson relearned and driven home, sigh…
On the bright side, the weather has been stunning, if rather chill, and I was able to soothe my upset with some nature time. I’ve also been busy cleaning and decorating the house, so that’s been fun.
In truth, while there is still plenty to be grateful for and to rejoice in, I’m feeling quite salty and sore about my damn computer. No toxic positivity here – just taking things one step at a time and letting myself feel quite upset at the circumstances when I need to.
At least Mercury is now direct and things can start moving forward again (with a lot more backups, lol)! Be sure to double check your own files and take advantage of all the goodness that October holds!!!
