My art journal pages this week were quite enjoyable to create (having Murdoch Mysteries on on the background made it even better).
The first page is a dreamy, winter-evoking piece (inspired by this darn Bomb Cyclone weather!). I drew the deer silhouette and then spent a good while shading it in just so. I adore layering and shading, so this piece was a delight and I think it turned out aces!
The second page is a quote I can quite easily relate to, so I simply wrote it out (with as steady a cursive hand as I could manage with Nelly trying to sleep all over me…she really thinks that she is a lap dog, and I have yet to completely disabuse her of that notion). I then added the dots by coloring the eraser end of a pencil with various marker colors and stamping it around. Easy and cheerful, I think!
