Get Messy Prompt Time! This week is the October prompt which was about gratitude. It’s a lovely prompt and one that flowed easily onto my pages. Gratitude is beautiful and a mind filled with gratitude and appreciation is one brimming with such loveliness that one cannot help but be draw to it…
Page one is a collage of sorts. The background is watercolor blending with some lovely black watercolor dashes. Over this I layered a lovely floral image I clipped from a Yoga Journal ages ago. There is a softness in the deep, dark background behind the flower and it allows the velvet texture of the petals to glow.
Page two is my response to the prompt. It has a flowing thought on gratitude and a charming silhouette that I drew on to the page of a book (it was falling apart, so bibliophiles, though you may feel faint, do know that I did not deface a book in vain, tee-hee). I am grateful for so very much – my life, those who love me and that I love, the everyday beauty, wonder and joy that greets me at all turns, my mind that can see so much and be thankful…the list goes on and on. Gratitude is a mindset and a way of being that is as one with me as breathing.
I am so delighted to get to see what others are grateful for through their pages!

Such great pages! I really like how you wrote behind the silhouette. I think your writing is pretty. It speaks volumes.
