Vacuous is one of those words that is frequently used, yet it can be tricky to spell – at least for me! It’s easy to remember the definition of vacuous since it can make you think of a vacuum (you know, empty space). Vacuousness is not a bad thing, per say, however as a character trait it’s not something I think many would desire. I mean, I have my rather vacuous moments, where I totally blank out and I enjoy vacuous romance novels and reality TV – which, lets face it, both are nothing but pure, enjoyable fluff and no substance.
I swear I’ve looked about this vapidly vacuous at times!
I do love the word vacuous, it just reads and sounds wonderful! What do you think?
