Ask her what she craved, and she'd get a little frantic about things like books, the woods, music. Plants and the seasons. Also freedom. Not being bought and sold by some idiot employer, not having the moments of her days valued in fractions of a dollar by somebody other than herself.

So my Mom had a very last minute request for me to make a holiday card for Her and this is my somewhat rushed result created to her specifications. Just a quick snap of my repeating pattern. I am still fiddling with scale and playing with colorways, but considering this is the first repeating pattern I've ever made, I'm fairly thrilled with the outcome so far!!! #learnwithbonniechristine #repeatingpattern
