This World needs change. It needs it desperately, and immediately is not too soon for it to begin, in fact, immediately is almost too late.
The past few weeks alone have shone yet another bright, painful light upon the injustices that hate, prejudice, and ingrained, ignorant thought processes have wrought in our society. If we (and I am referring to America since I am an American) are such a “grand, first world” country, why are we treating members of our own with such brutal malevolence? Like they are dispensable, less-than, and incapable of doing what’s right for their own bodies?
Why are entire groups and ethnicity’s being bullied, killed, attacked, and treated so shamefully? Why do so many have to live in fear of the hate, the ignorance? Why are people being singled out for having female reproductive organs and being told they don’t know what’s best or right medically for them? Why? If this society of ours has been created by the process of our thinking then I have to ask, just what the f**king hell have we been/are we thinking?!?
America needs to stop and take a hard, long look at just how hostile, barbaric, racist, misogynistic, and shameful the seemingly over-riding mindset has been and then it needs to change it’s way of thinking and acting. Period.
We as human beings owe it to those who have been oppressed and killed and who are being oppressed and killed to make it stop. And make it stop NOW. Every person deserves the right to live and to live without the fear that they may be killed simply because of their skin color, gender, ability to get pregnant, or sexual preferences.
Change your thinking, change the world. Now is never too soon.
