Love can drive one mad, but only if one is out of touch with love…

Love is life’s goal. To love is to touch upon the divine and embrace it’s purest essence. This includes all forms of love from the mundane, to the passionate, to the romantic, to the physical, to the self, and every other kind of love in-between.
In truth there are as many different forms of love as there are unique individuals in the history of time and time to come. Love has no specific face or name or method. Love in it’s most perfect form is simply LOVE. The overflowing abundance of acceptance and affection and tenderness for something, someone, anyone, everyone.
Ideally, love is all and all is love and it is acknowledged as such.
The start of all love begins within the self. It is here that the heart of the matter (pun intended) lies. When you start with love, you end with love. And to start with love you must begin with yourself. By loving yourself and cultivating a deep, gentle tenderness and fondness for yourself, you create a bounty of love that will overflow from your being. It’s this overflow that allows you to shower love upon everything that exists outside yourself.
It’s the magic and wonder of life that each of us can create and nurture such a passionate, ever growing source of love. This love needs only our attention and compassion to cultivate it and the more we feed it, the more lush and rich we become with it and the more we have to flood our world with.
When we become desperate for love we are often seeking it outside of ourselves and forgetting that we are the richest source we have. If we think that the only love that will do is in the form of another, we will always be starving for it. It is beyond wonderful to share the love of another, however, it is at it’s best when we foster a love from within first and continuously.
May your own love flourish and grow and may the overflow of it shower those around you!
