“Every word you speak is an affirmation The subconscious is always listening.” ~ Louise Hay
Every word, every thought you speak or have is heard and acknowledged…
“Every word you speak is an affirmation The subconscious is always listening.“
Thoughts and words are created with energy. This energy is then sent out and transformed into action in one way or another. It’s an incredible thing and it happens without us even realizing it. Words can hurt or heal, motivate or deflate. Words are a great power.
Of course, as we all know, with great power comes great responsibility. We all know (or at least I certainly hope we all know) how words can cause pain to others – inadvertently or purposefully. We also know how wonderfully words can give comfort and express love to others. Communication is the key to so much and it is the material that either builds the bridge or burns it completely.
Now take that knowledge and turn it inward and towards yourself. That same power you have that can invoke the worst distress and agony or the kindest relief and well-being in others applies to you too. How you speak to and about yourself matters. Your own words and thoughts about yourself actually hold the greatest powers of persuasion and influence on yourself. You have complete control of your narrative and it’s results.
I’m serious. You have complete control of your narrative and it’s results. You have ultimate authority over your thoughts, your words, your body, your soul. You have the final say in how you talk to, and treat, yourself.
There will always be outside voices, outside words and judgements and goodness knows what else. But you don’t have to add to the negativity, to the words that cut you down, that keep you small and insecure and that dim your power. Hell, you don’t even have to actually listen to that crap if you don’t want to – you have permission to just ignore it. You can’t, however, not listen to yourself and that’s where this lovely quote comes into play.
It’s beyond important to remember that your subconscious is always listening and absorbing what you’re saying and thinking. By actively choosing to think positively about yourself, you will be feeding yourself with confidence and useful, joy giving affirmations. Stop this constant derisive, dismissive, gloomy narrative and replace it with one that is uplifting, joyous and celebratory. You are worth it. I know I say it a lot, but I mean it and want everyone to feel this way ~ You are worth it!
