Monday Mantra 147 – Oh soul, you worry too much. You have seen your own strength…

Worry, anxiety, panic, distress, each of these things can seem like a constant thread, pulled too taught, running throughout your body. Yet, yet, they don’t have to be. Easy to say but not to feel? Perhaps, but perhaps not. As Rumi so elegantly, so lushly said, Oh soul, you worry too much. You have seen your own strength. You have seen your own beauty. You have seen your golden wings. Of anything less, why do you worry? You are in truth the soul, of the soul, of the soul.”. Let these gorgeous words resonate in you with a divine sort of harmony. Your soul is strong. Your soul is beautiful. Your soul has golden wings that can lift you out and over distress and despair. Your soul is complete, steady, connected to the Divine in ways your human self can barely even begin to comprehend. By trusting in the power of your soul and of yourself, you can cultivate peace, compassion, empathy, and hope. By simply letting go of all that you cannot control and focusing on your own source of goodness and tapping into your potential you can shed the heaviness that worry and anxiety cause. You are the soul, of the soul, and you are whole because of it.
