How amazing, how simple, and how humbling is it to think that we are the ones we’ve been waiting for and we are the change that we seek?! That the power to make a difference, to make a change is in our hands?
It’s awesome in its truth and Obama made good on these words time and time again. Was He perfect, no – and He would be the first to say so. Just as each of us in not perfect but human and with that very humanity comes this reality, a reality that we have the ability to shape and form and change for the good of ourselves and for all. Working towards a positive goal, one that includes everyone, not just a select few, is something each and every single one of us is capable of.
It may seem like what you can do is insignificant or limited, however, all the little things add up. If each of us took these words and applied them to our own lives and selves, and then let that momentum lead us to applying them to the world around us that we live in, why the results would be stupendous!
