Monday Mantra 106 – Oh what we could be if we stopped carrying the remains of who we were

Oh what we could be if we stopped carrying the remains of who we were. Taylor Knott Gregson quote Monday Mantra 106 via LaWhimsy“Oh what we could be if we stopped carrying the remains of who we were.”~ Taylor Knott Gregson

Everything changes, even You. Yes, every cell, every molecule of your being is in constant change. So why then do so many of us carry around the past, the remains of who we were? Why do we cling on and refuse to let go and live in the now? It can be scary as hell to change, to leave what seems familiar  – even if it isn’t good for us (better the devil you know and all). However, change doesn’t have to be scary, or bad, or even all that drastic. If we let go and stopped carrying the remains of what and who we were go, we could see what we are now, for better or worse, and see what amazing things we can do and be with the person we’ve become. It’s not as difficult as our minds can make it seem, it’s a trusting, a believing that the Universe knows what’s what, and that we are okay and right where we are supposed to be, and that even if it seems bleak right now, it won’t always be. The first step to making your life your’s is to let go of the past and be right here in the now. Nothing is going to change that fact, so if you embrace it you have the power and the ability to make the now yours. Let your cells continue to change and grow and let your mind and soul do the same. You’ve got this!
