Monday Mantra 54

This Monday Mantra is a bit of a spin on Neil deGrasse Tyson’s quote “The Universe is under no obligation to make sense to you.” (because lets face it, it’s not!). In that same vein of thinking, I know that I am under no obligation to make any sense to anyone else, just like no one else is obligated to make any sense to me. I like to stick to this little ditty I wrote awhile back ~ “I am who I am. I do what I do. I bring harm to none, so what does it matter if I make any sense to you?”. I will always be my own sort of quirky, whimsical, foibled self and if who I am makes no sense to someone, well, so be it! Own your own nonsensical self and don’t worry about explaining a thing because those who love and care about you don’t need an explanation, and the rest isn’t yours to worry about.
