From the beginning to the end, we are all in essence the same…
“The same substance composes us – the tree overhead, the stone beneath us, the bird, the beast, the star – we are all one, all moving to the same end.”
So very much ugliness appears to reign supreme in the world around us, from the ghastly, violent headlines, to the suppression of multiple voices, groups, and individuals. And yet, it’s all so shallow in it’s created hate and greed.
Below the surface differences, every single human, hell, every single living thing on this earth, is ultimately the same. We are all of the same essence, each of us seeking to live the life we have been given to the best of our ability.
The hatred, the judgement, the discrimination, and all the needless difficulties and dangers they create are simply greed based human devices made to make us small and divided. It’s a societal us against them construct used to keep a very few in so called “power”.
Take, for instance, money. It’s purely an invented way to coalesce vital resources behind a controlled wall of power. By using money to delineate a class system and denying basics by moving the benchmark in a fluctuating manner, the people with the most money remain unchallenged as those with the least have to fight to merely survive.
It’s sick and twisted and nowhere close to being “civilized”, not to mention humane.
Government is another way that takes the human condition and ultimately ignores it in favor of power greed. The same can be said for big corporations, military strongholds, etc. What may have, at one time, on paper, perhaps, seemed like good, fair, equitable ideas, have long since been corrupted to the point of ridiculousness. Oh, and don’t even get me started on white supremacy, religious rule, and all that nonsensical stupidity that has had all too real and deadly consequences for far too long.
We are all humans. We are all living, breathing, bleeding, loving souls who all deserve a healthy, safe, secure life. Nobody is less deserving of it than anyone else at the root of it all.
I give thanks for all of our similarities as well as our differences. I want to lift up all those who need it, allow those who need to be heard the space to vocalize, provide comfort to whoever needs it. We are all comprised of the same substance and love unites us. Love is our ultimate power.
With love we can overtake the greed. With love we can heal the world around us. With love we can create equality and we can actually evolve into the real power we are each capable of individually and together. Love is ultimate power and it’s freely available to us all. Start with yourself and let the love flow and grow.
