War gives nothing and takes everything…

“No matter how you may try to justify it. You can never justify war. On the other hand, you don’t need to justify peace – it is always beautiful.”

War is such an unnecessary evil. One that takes, destroys, damages. What is currently happening in the Ukraine is but another example of the combative bloodshed that takes place almost constantly around the World.

Enough is enough, and it’s been enough since the time of the very first war, eons ago.

Humanity has enough on it’s plate without having to deal with the brutal upheaval caused by power-hungry assholes who have no true concept of the actual soul-cost of war.

War is never, ever justified. We have been bestowed with one of the greatest gifts in the form of communication and the fact that so often it is bypassed in favor of hostile physical (or verbal) combat is beyond me.  I mean, my heart aches when I think of all those who have been displaced, wounded, killed, etc. by such heavy-handed, power-greedy f*ckers (sorry about the language – I’ve been soul-aching since well-before these last two weeks and this had simply pushed me over into a burning anguish that longs to make it better for all humans caught in the cross-hairs across the globe.).

The things is, only peace is justifiable. Ideally, peace brings goodness and beauty and possibilities to everyone. Peace allows for differences and room for everyone. Peace is what so many religions and spiritual practices call for, teach, and encourage.

I do not believe that you have to go to war to achieve peace, rather you must find ways to create peace exactly where you are with what you have. Peace has no need for power-grabs or dictators and I think that is where it scares the smallest of minds since they interpret it as a sort of scarcity/poverty thing for themselves. In actuality, peace means plenty for everyone.

Peace may seem far away right now for so many, but we must act and not allow indifference to fester the evils of war. Speak up, give where you can, share fact-check information, provided love and kindness and openness. Above all else, promote and nourish peace in as many ways as possible – for yourself, your loved ones, your neighbors, and everyone you cross paths with.

Stay safe and stay in love!!!
