Monday Mantra 90

Don't think the garden loses its ecstasy in winter. It's quiet, but the roots are down there riotous. Rumi winter quote Monday Mantra 90 via LaWhimsy“Don’t think the garden loses its ecstasy in winter. It’s quiet, but the roots are down there riotous.”~ Rumi

Winter may seem a barren season, filled with cold landscapes and icy air, yet it is also a season of inner warmth and soul seeking. Just as the garden may seem dead and still to the naked eye, the roots are still there, and they are riotous. They are gaining strength and nourishment for the next growing cycle and they are pushing ever deeper as they rest, seeking a stronger, surer hold in the earth. Do the same for yourself this winter season and turn your energies inward. Rest your body and mind and let your soul be riotous as you push deeper into your own awareness and gain strength from your inner guides. Let winter be a season of soul nourishment and inner contentment and find a peace and joy in the cold, quiet winter months. Happy Winter!
