Overthinking can be a very addictive and dangerous habit – one that I am quite guilty of, especially when it comes to problems, difficulties, decisions, you name it. This beautiful quote “Sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess. Just breathe, and have faith that everything will work out for the best.” is one that I have now written down and stuck to my inspiration board and mirror as a reminder to take a breath and relax my mind, body, and soul. To stop overthinking and over worrying. To stop creating and imaging scenarios that don’t need to be (hello worse-case scenario Rolodex!). To stop obsessing over everything and just take each step, each moment as it comes, and as it is. To acknowledge the deep inner beauty that lies in the faith and trust that everything will work out for the best. Life is truly what you make of it and if you relax, stay true to who you are, embrace what comes your way, and stay open and aware of your inner faith, all will be just as it should and even more wonderful than you could imagine!
