This week I went a bit simple, with bold black lines on my pages. After making the washi tape feather tutorial for last week, I just wanted something relaxing and soothing. So Coffee, Tea, and Repartee it was…
I really loved the background color play on an old magazine page I had, so I line drew a teacup/coffee cup with a sharpie right onto the page and then cut it out. I added some steam curls and the words and voila!

I then wrote down this little motto that struck me early one morning onto a piece of creamy card-stock and I added all sorts of colors, then I secured it to the page with some washi tape and added a few more tribal inspired motifs for the edges. Simple, charming, and quite enjoyable!

So weird. I was thinking one of my next pages needs to be a cup of tea. We are on the same wavelength Mrs.
Well you know what they say, great minds think alike! 🙂
Loooove the feel of your pages. Love your cup, too!! 🙂

That feather tutorial is brilliant btw – I will be trying it out soon enough 🙂 In the meantime, great pages! I get the feeling were all on a bit of a ‘simple pages’ kick this week, which Is kind of reassuring. Must be some october vibes getting to us!
I really like the patterns you included on the second page. And the quote is super charming! Can’t wait to see what you create next week ^^
