Monday Mantra 105 – To live happily is an inward power of the soul

To live happily is an inward power of the soul. Marcus Aurelius quote Monday Mantra 105 via LaWhimsy“To live happily is an inward power of the soul.”~ Marcus Aurelius

Happiness is bandied about so much that, after awhile, it can almost lose a certain sense of meaning. We all want happiness, we desire to live happy lives, dream happy dreams, be happy people. What, however, and just where is this seemingly elusive happiness? Happiness, joyfulness, delightfulness – each of these is something worth having, worth seeking out and aiming for. But, what if you already had them. What if I told you that happiness isn’t so much elusive as it is a conscious choice of power. A choice to look inward and tap into the power of the soul that resides within and without you. We all know that happiness is a choice, but have you ever thought of it as a power and a power that you possess? You are in control of yourself and that is a mighty power that you have flowing through your very being. If you decide to tap into it, happiness will come to you, in your way. The inward power of your soul is incredible – will you acknowledge it?
