A creative soul is often one that moves at a pace of it’s own making and that usually leads to a bit of chaos and disorganization in the day-to-day. Speaking for myself, I think that Gustave Flaubert was on to something because by keeping a certain amount of order in my life and it’s various workings I am able to fully throw myself into the creative flow without getting as overwhelmed. I try and keep a steady daily schedule of when I wake-up, eat and go to bed. With those basic, rather consistent building blocks I am able to keep a pleasant, well-ordered sense of life that allows for unabashed freedom and fierceness in my creative and artistic endeavors.
