February has passed by and now here it is March 1st! I am truly giddy, not only because this means that Spring is on it’s way (I’ve had enough of cold, blerky weather (yes, blerky is a word – it means bleak and murky and I created it – take that Webster’s, hehe) but March means birthday time for me and a few friends too ~ Yay! First, though, I should mention that February was actually a fairly good month and I got a few things accomplished from the list I created.
I managed to draw a picture (a super cutesy one just because), start on my 52 Lists (yes that is a hand-embroidered cover by yours truly and I do plan to start blogging about them), start making a doll, oh and not pictured are all the Valentine’s I made and printed out and glittered to no end. It also seems that Balter was my most popular post in February and I was, and still am, quite delighted about the views I received (heck, I’m still very delighted when I get about 10 views a day – it’s the little things, truly!). Now onto March…
I’ve started my March goals list and I’m all ready a raring to go…in spirit anyway. I’ve been fighting a bug since the middle of the week and I feel so physically run-down and just blerky (see, it has multiple uses). I’m hoping that I can get some rest this weekend, though the first birthday celebration is Sunday when my youngest brother turns 20 – wow, how the years can fly by! He’s a great brother and kid (as his older sister I get to call him that forever, hehe, just kidding T. – I’ll say guy!) and we have some great things planned to help him get his party on!
March is also Women’s History Month and I, for one, have always been keenly interested in Women’s History and the role, often silent but always present, that women have played throughout history. The National Women’s History Museum is a terrific site to visit and there is always information galore available for more.
Namaste ~ Ella
