It’s a rather murky, drab winter Friday, all haze and wetness. It makes me glad to be indoors, where all is cozy and I can curl-up and be a bit lazy-dazy – the perfect way to end the first week back to schedule, if I do say so myself – and I do! In light of this, I figured that today would be a good day to try out a new feature here on the blog – a weekday wrap-up. I’ll share some of the things I’ve run across during the week that inspired me, made me smile, made me think, etc. I know, I know, some of you are thinking “how very original of you!” but, hey, it is a rather great idea so I might as well put my own spin on it, right?! *Ahem*
These to-die-for Jeffrey Campbell Cinda Flats left me drooling (and I will do my darnedest to seek them out since ModCloth is currently outta stock!)
I want a color-block knit blanket just like this, though since I have yet to master knitting, it may be awhile.
This fashion illustration is fantastic and I swear I have the makings of a very similar outfit!
Music-wise I’ve been enjoying Ellie Goulding’s latest album Halcyon. While I will listen to just about any music that is playing, I can be incredibly picky when it comes to the music that sparks that certain something and ‘speaks’ to me.
I think I might just add this wording to the front of a notebook I already have since all my ideas are rather brilliant and I don’t want to wait to start jotting them down, tee-hee.
Well, that’s a pretty sweet start for now and you sort-of have an idea of where my head’s been at this week (or, today at least). Here’s to a happy weekend for us all!
Namaste ~ Ella
